Sanjo Display Font for Creative Projects

Working on a branding project for a small, local café recently, I found myself scrolling through my font library, searching for something that felt personal and authentic. That’s when I stumbled upon Sanjo. It wasn’t just another display font—it had a warmth, a soul, and a story behind it. Made by handwritten, do with love, Sanjo immediately caught my eye as the perfect fit for a brand that values craftsmanship and character.

Sanjo for Logo Design and Brand Identity

Sanjo is a display font that feels like it was written with care. Its irregular strokes and subtle variations give it a handcrafted look that stands out in a sea of digital typefaces. When I first tested it on a logo draft for the café, it brought an unexpected sense of personality to the design. The font’s unique alternates allowed me to create a custom look that felt both modern and nostalgic at the same time.

Using Sanjo for logo design means embracing its imperfections. It doesn’t aim for perfection; instead, it leans into the beauty of human touch. This makes it ideal for brands that want to communicate authenticity and creativity. Whether it’s a coffee shop, a handmade boutique, or a skincare line, Sanjo adds a visual signature that feels genuine.

Sanjo for Packaging Design and Product Labels

When I moved from the logo to the packaging design, Sanjo proved to be just as effective. On product labels and packaging mockups, it added a tactile quality that made the brand feel more approachable. The font’s weight and spacing worked well for short text, making it easy to read while still maintaining a strong visual presence.

I paired Sanjo with a clean sans serif for the product descriptions, which helped balance the overall design. The contrast between the two fonts highlighted the personality of Sanjo without overwhelming the reader. It was a great example of how a display font can work alongside other typefaces to create a cohesive brand system.

Sanjo for Social Media Graphics and Web Headers

As the project progressed, I needed a font that could translate well to digital formats. Sanjo performed admirably on social media graphics and website headers. Its bold strokes made it stand out on Instagram posts and Twitter banners, while its readability ensured that the message remained clear even at smaller sizes.

For the café’s website, I used Sanjo as the main heading font. It gave the homepage a friendly, inviting tone that matched the brand’s personality. The font’s alternates allowed me to create variation in the headings, keeping the design dynamic without repeating the same look too often.

Sanjo for Print and Merchandise

One of the most satisfying parts of the project was seeing Sanjo in print. Whether it was on business cards, T-shirts, or stickers, the font retained its charm and clarity. The handwritten style gave each piece a unique feel, which was exactly what the client wanted.

For the café’s merchandise, I used Sanjo on T-shirts and mugs. The font’s organic flow made it feel like a natural extension of the brand’s identity. It wasn’t too flashy, but it had enough character to make the products stand out. The alternates were especially useful for creating different versions of the same design, which added versatility to the merch line.

Sanjo for Editorial Design and Poster Work

While working on a promotional poster for the café’s opening event, I found that Sanjo worked well for headlines and subheadings. Its expressive strokes added energy to the design, making the message more engaging. The font’s versatility allowed me to experiment with different layouts, from centered titles to diagonal text placements.

Sanjo also did well in editorial design, such as in the café’s menu and event flyers. Its legibility at larger sizes made it a good choice for headings, while its stylistic variations gave the designs a custom feel. It was a reminder that display fonts don’t have to be reserved for logos—they can add visual interest to a wide range of design projects.

Sanjo for Handwritten Style and Personal Touch

What sets Sanjo apart is its handwritten style. It doesn’t feel like a generic font; it feels like a personal expression. This makes it a great choice for brands that want to convey a sense of individuality and warmth. Whether it’s a small business, a creative studio, or a local restaurant, Sanjo can help tell the brand’s story in a way that feels real and meaningful.

For clients who are looking for a font that can add a personal touch to their brand, Sanjo is a solid choice. It’s not just about aesthetics—it’s about creating a connection with the audience. The font’s uniqueness helps build recognition, making it easier for customers to remember and relate to the brand.
